Effective Circularity

CONSUMER FAMILIARITY

Pulpex enables full brand design potential within our platform and drives opportunity to transition from glass and plastic to fibre packaging with a format to suit to every consumer occasion.

Brand owners work with us to deliver their specific requirements enabling a more sustainable future for their consumers and retail partners alike, whilst delivering circularity in packaging through their choices.

TECHNICAL FUNCTIONALITY

Technical functionality and supply chain integration is as critical as the design itself.
However, not every product requires bespoke, tailor-made designs to succeed.

...USING A VARIETY OF FIBRE SOURCES

Our Pulpex sites are fitted out as BRCGS-certified  facilities as a robust technology needs to operate in a robust Quality Management System.

Being a food-safe production environment, Pulpex primarily utilises forest-based fibres that are compliant for direct food contact. No matter how advanced the fibre recycling systems are, the risk of contaminants in recycled fibres exists. Where we use forest-based fibres, we exclusively use fibre sourced from sustainably certified forests audited by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and/or the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).

However, there is a cellulose source for every occasion. Pulpex technology is compatible with any type of fibre feedstock, from recycled fibre through to bespoke local and agri-waste materials. As such, we encourage any supplier of local raw materials to contact us to look for compatibility with our existing process so we can minimise our carbon footprint and use locally-sourced biopolymers as we start to deploy Pulpex sites globally with our partners. â€‹â€‹

Pulpex is an active member of 4evergreen and, along with others, we support their central approach to designing for circularity of fibre and ensuring the recoverability of our product.
